Después del temblor | After the Earthquake (2020)

Retrato de la repercusión que tuvo la ola de terremotos que sacudieron Juchitán en el cierre del 2017. A través de Dxani -una muxe modista- y Jacinto -un albañil- se narran los retos que la población vivió; que incluyen los fraudes que el gobierno llevó con la ayuda para los damnificados, la crisis financiera y la discriminación sufrida por la población Muxe.

With the wave of earthquakes that shook Mexico at the end of 2017, Juchitán was devastated. Through Dxani, a muxe dressmaker, and Jacinto, a bricklayer, the challenges faced by the population are brought to life. These include the fraud the local government carried out with the aid for the victims, the financial crisis and the discrimination endured by the Muxe population.
