En un período de aislamiento, lejos una de la otra, dos amigas se reencuentran a través de video-cartas, inspiradas en la mirada poética de mujeres cineastas experimentales: Marie Menken, Joyce Wieland, Gunvor Nelson e Yvonne Rainer. Fernanda es una brasileña que vive en São Paulo, Adriana es una mexicano-brasileña que vive en Los Ángeles. Comparten su inspiración mientras capturan la realidad de estos tiempos: las protestas contra Bolsonaro, la mudanza de una casa, el paso de los días que se sienten de todos modos, la gentrificación que no se detendrá ni siquiera durante una pandemia, las protestas de Black Lives Matter. y el anhelo de reencontrarse pronto.

In a period of isolation, far away from each other, two friends reconnect through video-letters, inspired by the poetic gaze of women experimental filmmakers: Marie Menken, Joyce Wieland, Gunvor Nelson and Yvonne Rainer. Fernanda is a Brazilian living in São Paulo, Adriana is a Mexican-Brazilian living in Los Angeles. They share their inspiration while capturing the reality of these times: the pot-banging protests against Bolsonaro, a home moving, the passing of days that feel all the same, gentrification that won’t stop even during a pandemic, the Black Lives Matter protests and the yearning of meeting each other again soon.
