Yollotl (Coeur) | Yollotl (Heart) (2020)

Yollotl une el pasado y el presente a través de una historia de amor inspirada en la mitología mesoamericana y en los testimonios de los niños de la selva maya. Una narración en náhuatl y un canto ritual acompañan el viaje desde el interior de los árboles milenarios hasta el universo. A través de una historia de amor entre dos árboles milenarios que protegen un secreto, me cuestioné el lugar que ocupa el ser humano en la Tierra y en el Universo.

Yollotl unites the past and the present through a love story inspired by Mesoamerican mythology and the testimonies of the children of the Mayan jungle. A narration in Nahuatl and a ritual song accompany the journey from the interior of the ancient trees to the universe. Through a love story between two thousand-year-old trees that protect a secret, I questioned the place that human beings occupy on Earth and in the Universe.
